I think people need to post whether a given result is good for leave or remain. As a layman I have no clue whether 60% leave in some Welsh place means anything substantial. Sad
Wales should be relatively similar to England (albeit slightly more in favour of remain)

I don't think anyone really knows, as there is nothing really to compare it to.

Bad result for Remain in NewCastle
its full of students

Except that in June it isn't; they've all gone home.

Interesting discussion on the BBC.

20% of all votes are by postal vote and indications are that they are overwhelming for Leave Smiley

Newcastle is full of middle class and large students population (Remain friendly demographics)
it shouldve been 58-42% for Remain

The students aren't there as the academic year is finished and its actually a pretty tough postindustrial city for the most part with some massive council housing projects (the Byker Wall etc).

But if the students' polling location is in Newcastle, does that mean that the students who went home didn't vote at all?

Will this thread be plagued with people shouting wonderful/terrible and other people quoting them? Please dont turn this into the average American 2016 election thread, no matter what side you are on.
