http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/eu-referendum-nigel-farage-to-announce-plans-to-head-campaign-for-british-exit-10425255.html

According to a recent poll by ORB, 55% of Britons support staying in the EU and 45% support leaving the EU. 71% of 18 to 24-year-olds in Britain support staying in the EU, while 53% of those aged 65 and over support leaving the EU.

Interesting generational difference -I wonder why younger people in the UK are more supportive of the EU than their elders.

The stereotypical Europhile is highly educated, rich, urban, and socially liberal while the stereotypical Eurosceptic is the opposite - less educated, more likely to be working class, less likely to be live in the urban core, and more socially conservative. Young people are likely to fit in (or aspire to be)  the former as the most pro-European parties (Green & Lib Dems) do well with university students.

Most young people are very far from being rich or believing that they have any chance of being so.

I forgot to put the 'more' in. They are more likely to in the former category than the latter.

Corbyn makes it clear - he wants to stay in the EU.

Some interesting commentary. Could UKIP's presence spook British Muslims into voting to stay?

It's early, true. But very good results for Leave.

BBC: sources in Labour call it for Leave.

People, its really happening. Im so proud of the UK. They do love freedom!

They must also love the collapse in their economy.

You really dont understand the arguments. Back to project fear. Britons just never will be slaves!

Of course not. They will be beggars.

That would be the Greeks whom you care so much about.

Juncker has already stated clearly that 'out is out' and it's pretty much assured that the EU will try to use this as oppurtunity to punish the UK to set an example.

Aside from Scottish independence, a great benefit of the Brexit is forcing the UK to rethink their position on the world stage; no longer should it be a thuggish neo-imperialist power and a lackey for American hegenomy if the Washington ends the special relationship.

I assume this country will be stripped of all international responsibility. How can it be trusted with a UN veto power if it literally decides to will be kinda fun to risk the world economy because "muh feels"? A sad, sad end for Britain's status as a global power.

Yeah, it would make more sense to give the UK's veto power to the EU now.

France is already the de-facto EU vote on the UN. And it is truly sad that there are people here that are STILL butthurt over Suez and muh empire.

Horrah Hoorah! Nationalism and Self-Determination has won out over globalist ponzi monopoly scheme and global multinational capitalism.

I suspect that Corbyn voted for leave privately.

In light of the post-referendum explosion of internet ageism (along with other types of prejudice) by the Remain side, it looks like a lot of young people didn't even bother to vote.

isn't that what happens in every election ever in the UK?

I hoped an an extremely important election like this would be the exception.

And it is funny to blame one group of people for outvoting yours.... when yours didn't turn-out.
