53 Remain
47 Leave

My feeling is that the chances for Brexit have dropped to almost nothing.  Momentum is a powerful thing and Remain has got it now at just the right time.

A vote to exit would still require Parliaments approval, right?  Is it possible then that a massive devaluation of the pound and a huge market sell off could make Parliament balk at leaving?

Wow, 52-48 means we won't know for a LONG time.  Exciting!

British election nights move so slowly, way moreso than American election nights.  It just adds to the suspense!

Is Farage always this blatantly honest?  It's strange to see him talking about potentially losing when none of the votes are even in yet.  Politicians usually put up a brave face no matter the result.

He keeps talking about how "we might have lost the battle, but we will win the war" and that the fight will go on.  Sounds extremely pessimistic.

Good for which side?

It's good for Leave.

Again a whoop-whistler who has no idea what he is talking about. Sunderland is a depressed industrial city that was expected to go to Leave.

?  My statement is a fact.

If everybody reports leads being wiped out until 3am this thread is pointless.

I'm going to keep reporting the results.  Sorry you're salty!

57% turnout in Foyle, NI.  Seems low to me, what was turnout expected to be in NI?

I'm thinking we're going to see a much more polarized country than the models were projecting.  I wouldn't get too confident over Swindon yet.

RIP the pound, RIP the City of London.

They were good while they lasted.

RIP UK. RIP Great Britain.

I think Irish reunification may be on the cards.

Don't be silly.  Dear old Arlene will never allow it.

its genuinely upsetting Brittain deeply divided, non-voters and working class votes are not for leave but against the establishment. ive seen it first hand the past weeks in Devon.

Well, they're obviously not for remain either.

GREAT news for Leave.  South Tyneside is a strong Labour area.

Working-class Labor voters in industrial areas are among those most supporting leave. This is no shock.

No, but the margin is.

Not impressed with remain margins so far in NI.  I didn't expect Unionists to go as strongly for Leave.

The UUP did not back Leave.  Unionists were supposed to be more divided.

Why is everyone acting like Leave has won?  There's not even close to enough votes to show anything at this point, except that Leave is outperforming the polls.
The polls were 52-48 to Remain though. Leave outperforming the polls makes it likely Leave will win.
Dude, less than 20 districts have reported out of 382 total.  That number is anything but conclusive.

You're the same person who freaked out every time the networks made a call in the primary season and claimed "TOO EARLY!!!"  No credibility!
