I think this may be your most substantive post on the forum.

The People's Pat will obviously give her the populist appeal that she needs against a Midwesterner like Kasich or Walker.

Great resume, but he is 67 years old this year.

Two seniors does not exactly project the image of vibrant and dynamic leadership for the new decade.

I still remember the Quinn circle-jerks that came to an abrupt end after he lost by a comfortable margin to a conservative billionaire in one of the bluest states in america

Lol, this can't be serious. Quinn isn't a bad guy, but picking him as VP would be very very idiotic because he brings almost no balance to the Democratic ticket.

1.) He's 67 old in 2016
2.) His homestate is already a deep blue state (and he's unpopluar there)
3.) His record as governor is very mixed

Clinton wont take someone from a state she will win.

And it will be disaster for downballot races.

She would consult with Madigan on this one; and Speaker Madigan disliked Quinn.  Not to mention it might topple him as speaker.

This would be a terrible choice for Hillary.

Hillary should not pick someone who is unpopular in his own state (a blue state) and lost reelection. Quinn has no future in politics.
