He's a good example of someone who, even at his advanced age, could very well still be a threat.

Even without that, his crimes were monstrous enough to ensure that he should never be released in any capacity, since he lucked into no death penalty.

He did have the death penalty actually at one time but once Cali banned it his sentence got knocked down to Life.

He should never be let go for two reasons: 1. He would still be crazy and do something to someone no matter how old he is, and 2. He's stated several times he hates the real world and would rather stay inside the rest of his life because it's all he knows. Why let him out if he doesn't want to go?
