For all the members that cannot get to our forums, please post some of your opinions here. The only reason why I keep stressing your input in because I would actually like to open the voting tonight or tomorrow. And, again, let me apologize to those who cannot get to the forums. I am doing all that I can.

Alma, Wisconsin for the convention site. Beautiful small town on the Mississippi River.

I'll post the site for the town soon.

I still say Alma, Wisconsin. Here's the webpage: http://www.almawisconsin.com/

And we should endorse SuperSoulty for President!

I believe StatesRights is still in the race so we'll have to hold a primary. If he drops out (as I expect he will) and no other ACA candidate runs, we'll still have a primary (you can write in ACA candidates or whatever) and decide who we will endorse.

Register an account (if you already haven't) here:  http://afrnc.mikeassad.com/boards/index.php?c=1

You can start a thread for platform suggestions.

We are almost one month away from the General election, my friends. It's great to see that our convention is set up (for the most part) but we need to complete one more thing - the Primary.

Now we need to have our Primary finished by the start of the convention (May 20th) so we'll need to start soon. I have decided that the Primary will begin this Friday, May 13th at Midnight. Voting will end on May 16th at Midnight.

The ACA does have one candidate in the race: Mr. StatesRights. However, write in votes are allowed in the Primary. Delegates (from Primary victories) will be given to the candidates at our convention and then there will be another vote on who our nominee will be.

****ALSO, TO MAKE IT EASIER FOR PEOPLE, OUR PRIMARY WILL BE HELD ON THE ATLAS FORUM****

Well it's almost here! On May 19, the Atlasian Conservative Alliance will open it's first convention. The event will be held in Tampa, Florida. We look forward to seeing and hearing from many of those who will be taking the trip. The convention location is the St. Pete Times Forum.

Anyone at anytime will be recognized to speak but we also have official speakers. Our speaker schedule (so far) is as follows:

Day 1  -  BenMeyers, BrandonH.

Day 2  -  Senator MasterJedi, Lt. Gov. J.J. (Keynote Speaker)

Day 3  -  Senator PBrunsel, nominee for V.P., nominee for President

A general idea of what the convention schedule will be like:

Day 1

- Opening of Convention by Chairman
- Presentation of party platform (Along with debate)
- Vote on platform
- Speeches

Day 2

- Speeches
- Debate concerning the future nominee of the ACA for
  President and Vice President
- Opening of vote for nominee for President

Day 3

- Speeches (especially by any ACA nominee for office other than President/VP)
- Acceptance speech by VP nominee
- Acceptance speech by Presidential nominee
- Closing of Convention by Chairman

Well please keep up with what's going on. We'd love to have your input on the issues!  Smiley  No need to worry about that when it comes to the convention though. That will be held here.

While you are not considered an official speaker, you may address the delegates at any point (except during the scheduled speakers' time).
