If Bush had been re-elected in 1992, how do you think the rest of the 1990s would've went - economically, culturally, politically, socially? Would the '80s holdover pop culture of the early 90s have continued a lot longer? Would the mid 90s still have been a period of economic prosperity? How would GHW Bush have reacted to the World Trade Center bombing? Would the nation have drifted as right as it did during the Clinton years? And might Democrats have held Congress in 1994 with George Bush as President?

A much darker era than the Clinton years because a Second Korean War breaks out in 1994. No peace dividend even mildly with HW.

Bush is an amazing president, declares himself King for life, and he makes sure that you never find Atlas.

You take politics way too seriously, and I was born before 1992 anyway.

It would have altered American political history quite significantly, because there would have been no GOP revolution in 1994.

Democrats gain seats in Congress in 1994, Al Gore or someone to his right elected President in 1996.

The GOP would be the majority party today, and would be much stronger among suburban voters, women, and the wealthy.  I wish more than anything that he had won in '92.
