I don't even know much about Beau Biden aside from that he was a veteran running for Governor. But I know Joe must be devastated and that thought alone is enough to make me feel the pain. RIP and my condolences to the Biden's, who have experienced far too much tragedy over the years for a family as good as they are.

I was just speaking with my grandmother and this came up, and she raised a good point-hasn't Joe Biden suffered enough? Why is it that such a fundamentally decent man have to go through so many tragedies in his life?

My heartache for Joe knows no bounds at this moment.  This man has suffered so much in his long life.  RIP to Beau, and I  give me condolences to the family.  It's sad thinking that his young son and daughter won't be able to grow up with there great father.

I agree. At this point, the Biden survival rate is worse than the Kennedys. There's some quote about how the fate of every Irishman is to have life break their heart; I don't remember who said it but it seems to be proving very true.
