A 60 year old man doesn't go that long without having any kind of relationship. With the campaign in full swing soon, he'd produce a female partner of some sort if he had one.

He's single, doesn't seem interested in romantic relationships, and seems kinda fey.

Listen to him talk to 5 minutes and you'll see why. Also, it's very, very statistically unusual for a 59-year-old college-educated white male from South Carolina to have never married and have no children.

He seems pretty feminine as well as being unmarried with no children, but he could also be asexual

I don't know, but I don't appreciate the gay-baiting as a gay person.  I find it very hateful. Him having an R after his name, I guess, allows for others to engage in childish rhetoric.

Maybe if people didn't keep trying to think suggesting someone being gay is a bad thing? Or representative of a party that has done nothing but undermine basic rights and decency that some self-haters have decided they don't need or deserve.

I've seen some people here on the forum very much obsessed with Senator Graham's orientation. I simply don't see why people are so fixated on his sexuality, IMO it's a non issue.

Maybe if he wasn't constantly advocating  to burn our money and American lives on needless wars, we'd be nicer to him

I think it's Jon Stewart making jokes that drives the notion, mostly.

Some stereotypes do exist for a reason, however fair that is.

And we're told to avoid stereotypes because we can make mistakes.

About 4 percent of American men are gay, so the most seemingly effeminate ten percent of American males are still going to be straight more often than not (especially when you consider who aren't going to be found in that group.)

Because people love to speculate about any man over the age of 30 who is still single and has always seemingly been single.

Okay, first of all, even if you're a gay person, don't be incredulous about people's "gay baiting..." (that's not the correct usage of the word btw) of Lindsey Graham. Stereotypes are only harmful when they are being applied to further someone's oppression. I don't think anyone is oppressing this White, Southern, sexagenarian U.S. Senator.

As a gay person, what I find more appalling is that the GOP has profited off of American homophobia--that the Great Hero Reagan allowed so many of us to die in a genocide, that Bush II won an election by appealing to peoples' prejudices, and that Lindsey Graham even today is against gay adoption, hate crime laws, and letting openly gay soldiers serve.

If he's gay, it's even more offensive. It's always that same with Republicans--street preachers on the corner, mega-church pastors, etc. are all just exercising their religious rights, leave 'em alone, but the minute someone insinuates that a GOP official might be a hypocritical homophobe it's like "respect their privacy." I'll stop talking about Lindsey Graham's sexual orientation when he stops legislating mine, thank you very much.

Honestly yeah, once he pointed it out I couldn't help but notice. His Graham-impression is spot-on and hysterical.
