Voted Yarborough, though Dr. Krueger is a super-weird figure who is very much the opposite of the stereotypical Texas politician and, even as an appointed Senator, it's amazing someone with a doctorate in literature with a passion for poetry could be a US Senator from Texas.

Ya' know, I totally expected John Tower to win this by a split between Bentsen and Yaroborough.

After all, Tower's pretty much the Goldwater of Texas, and Goldwater won for Arizona.

Cruz is a ham. It's not really a good batch of Senators, but I dislike mushy moderates and like people who attempt to muck up the works. Cruz, for his many many flaws, mucks up the works.
