Coolidge is nomiated at the Republican convention and convinces Illinois Governor Frank Lowden to be his running mate. The Democrats Nominate Former Treasury Secretary William McAdoo of California and Former Ambassador John W Davis of West Virginia for President and Vice President, The Progressives Nominate Senator Hiram Johnson of California and Sen Burton Wheeler of Montana for President and Vice President. McAdoo has more clout in the West, and Johnson's probably popular enough in CA to split the conservative difference.
