SORA poll of 750 voting-age Austrians (SORA is Austria's "exit" pollster for elections, so this poll should be quite accurate or at least of high quality):

Hillary performs much worse than other people in the news that Austrians were asked about (maybe because Austrian newspapers and TV have reported heavily in the past 2 months about her campaign launch and scandals).

Pope Francis, Angela Merkel and Austrian President Heinz Fischer have the best ratings, while FPÖ-leader Strache and Putin have the worst ratings.

Of course, the Republicans would all have much crappier ratings than her and she'd win an election poll by 75-10 or something ...

Either they know she's a secret Republican or she needs some Merkel-like photos to surface.

Thankfully she's not running for President of Austria.

What kind of "Merkel-like photos" do you mean? Although I think it's hilarious that Merkel is more popular than any Austrian politician mentioned. Maybe time to hold another vote on Anschluss?

#BattlegroundAustria

Those numbers are kind of surprising, especially when you take a look at Obama's favorability rating in Austria.

Of course, the Republicans would all have much crappier ratings than her and she'd win an election poll by 75-10 or something ...

Maybe against Bush and Cruz, but not against the other Republicans.

What do you mean by this ?

Austria is historically an extremely Democratic-leaning country:

Which means Hillary would lead a poll against Bush by 75-10 and the other Republicans by 85-2 or something, because they have no name recognition ...

The name recognition is exactly what's hurting Bush in Europe. Btw: Do you think Rand Paul might have a shot at carrying Austria? lol I think he could keep it within single digits. It would also be interesting to see what Clinton's favorability rating in Germany is...

Plus: Rand Paul would lose in a huge landslide as well.

Ugh. I am so glad that Germany and Austria don't have a say in American politics.

Kenya is quite the hotbed of GOP support.  No surprise there:

Pretty conservative place economically speaking - they were always very pro-US and anti-communist during the Cold War. Socially too, obvs.

I recall McCain beating Obama in a poll taken of Israelis, and they ironically share a similar vein of social and economic conservatism.

I doubt that has much to do with it though.  Why would a Pakistani care about the domestic policies of the US?

The Pakistanis just really don't like the US government.  Obama is the head of the US government.  If McCain or Romney had been the incumbent at the time, their "partisan leanings" would have been reversed.

Yeah, basically. 2011 was a pretty rough year for US-Pakistani relations, with incidents like the bin Laden raid, Raymond Davis Affair, and the controversial border incident (which the Pakistanis responded to by shutting down the NATO supply routes for six months -- until they got an apology from Hillary). Given this and the controversial drone program, I think Pakistani 'opposition' to Obama was out of anti-incumbency.

Though I do think the Pakistani military might generally prefer a Republican administration.
