I'd be interested to see how into sports Atlas is.

EDIT: The second "MLB" should read "MLS."

Anyway, here's mine:

FOLLOW RELIGIOUSLY (In order of passion)
MLB: Chicago Cubs
College Basketball: Illinois Fighting Illini
NFL: Chicago Bears
College Football: Illinois Fighting Illini

FOLLOW PRETTY CLOSELY
International Soccer: United States and Germany (will always cheer for the US above anyone else, but it's fun to start cheering for the family heritage if the US is eliminated or isn't participating, ala the Euro Cup)
Club Soccer: Borussia Dortmund
NBA: Chicago Bulls
NHL: Chicago Blackhawks (holy smokes, was Chicago fun last night!)

And I don't really care about the rest.  I will occasionally cheer for the Bradley Braves in college basketball, being a Peoria native and all.  I also have always KIND OF followed college baseball because I had always played baseball, but I got really into it this year with Illinois having such a great season.

Casual MLB dude

I root for the home team (currently that is the Oakland A's), root against the Yankees and Dodgers, and everyone else is in the middle.

All but NASCAR but to varying degrees.

Best: (Tennis), College Basketball, MLB (inc. minors), College Football, (College Lacrosse)

(College Baseball)
Club Soccer
(College Hockey)
NHL

(College Softball)
NFL

International Soccer
(College Soccer)
NBA

PGA (forgot to vote for it, but it was kind of iffy anyway - Bubba, Mickelson, and I guess McIlroy are cool)

Too many teams to list - particularly for college. Federer and the Yankees run away with their respective sports.

Italia is my one true love.

Though if I ever get more into baseball I'll probably be a strong SF Giants supporter.

1. NFL
2. Other (Horse Racing)
3. NCAA (College) Football
4. MLB

NHL and NBA I check in on when the playoffs arrive, but I'm not passionate about them. The rest I have no interest in at all.

MLB (Red Sox for life; Mets if I have to root for a National League team for whatever reason; Orioles to an extent because my great-grandfather helped found them/move them to Baltimore). To an extent international soccer (I don't root for any one team in particular but I like the United States, Japan, and Italy).

In order of enthusiasm:

1) NFL - Chicago Bears
2) NHL - Chicago Blackhawks
3) NCAAF - Fighting Illini
4) NCAAB - Fighting Illini
5) MLB - Chicago Cubs

I don't follow the Bulls because I don't like the NBA in general, although I would definitely cheer for them if they went to the Finals. I don't consider myself a "fan" of them, though.

Btw RINO Tom, go Blackhawks! What a victory the other night. What an incredibly fun team to watch.

Also happy to see your support for my Illini and Bears Smiley

I'm not really a fan of sports, in that I don't follow any teams. I do like going to the actual games, or following them on TV when there's a big event (World Cup, World Series, Stanley Cup, etc.).

Basically, it's all Chicago teams (Bears, Hawks, Fire, Sox, Bulls), plus Italia in the World Cup. I'm not really into college sports.

Club football: Atletico Madrid, Tottenham Hotspur
International football: Spain
MLB: New York Mets (though I barely follow the league, it's basically inherited from my dad)

Not really a fan these days. There are some sports I don't mind watching, but none that I'd make an effort to watch.

I don't follow any sports, know the names of any sportspeople beyond the ones that commit scandals or even know whether my chosen teams are doing well or even still exist. I was born into a family that supports Tottenham Hotspur, Middlesex Cricket Club and Saracens Rugby Clubb and this means I will say I'm a fan if asked, but the conversation will immediately cease if I'm asked to elaborate on their recent sucess or who they've transfered recently or whatever. I also obviously support England in World Cups and Ashes etc. although not to the extent of watching the matches.

(Fun fact: I got a ticket for basketball in the London Olympics (USA vs China) and slept through the entire match)

My replacement for following sports is following elections, fwiw.

baseball - Boston Red Sox (Roll Eyes)
football - San Francisco 49ers (Sad)
basketball - Boston Celtics (Huh)
mls - Philadelphia Union
college football - Pitt Panthers
