All assume very competitive elections except 2100 (close states would be different in landslide):

2020:

2032:

2040:

2052:

2060:

2080:

2100:

A couple questions:
-What caused the trends from 2020-2080?
-What caused the realignment between 2080 and 2100, and why do Republicans (for now) have a huge national advantage?

What caused the trends from 2020-2080? The millennial generation is the most liberal out of the all generations, once the millennials die out after 2080-2090, the country takes a hard right trend.

Democratic party had too much control and power of the white house in the last 30-50 years and they became too much like Communists.

How did California and Oregon become safe Republican by 2100?

The Republicans snap their fingers, become socially/fiscally/culturally/insert whatever the Republicans are perceived as being too far right on moderate, magically win back all Suburban voters, become the party that Rockefeller always wanted, and stuff happens because all it takes to win suburban voters is saying "guys we're socially moderate now alright."

Lol?

Not that fantasies are unique to Republicans.

Democrats and their "in 20 years Texas will be the ultimate swing state and Republicans will be confined to the white plains states because hispanics and blacks and white liberals will dominate the country" is just as bad.

Isn't it glorious?

Colorado and Iowa come in just 3% right of Utah!

No, no. Hillary is safe in the Upper South because Bill won those states 20 years ago.

Greatest Generation is the most liberal generation ever, they locked the republicans out of the white house for a long time and it wasnt until the Silents and Boomers started to gain influence Republicans started to return to power

I notice that no one, including this thread's OP, ever writes about how the Republican Party is trending toward consistently winning the female vote nationwide.
