Every tragedy has to be turned into some special monumental social cause for the left. How much of a lack of moral compass do they have to have to use the deaths of these people to fundraise, as the DCCC has.

Stalinism to the core.

Oh, give it a rest, would you?! The left has been advocating taking the flag off public buildings forever. We didn't just start advocating taking the flag down after this shooting, as many opportunist conservatives have.

What about Mississippi having the Confederate flag as past of their state flag?

Mississippi should be forced to change it.

Lol by who?

Godwin's Law strikes again, except that the bad guy is Stalin instead of Hitler.

Give us a break. This shooting in a church is an abominable crime, something that should offend every Christian. The Sandy Hook massacre is a fitting, if sick, analogue.  Mental illness and firearms make a dangerous combination.

To be sure this is an extreme event, and extreme events do not induce wise decisions.

The discussion about communism reminded me about the Russia issue.  What is the status of the old Soviet flag? To many the hammer and sickle equals death camps, murder, expropriation, class destruction, rape, mass looting etc, etc, but to others it represents the Soviet peoples victory over Nazi Germany, the emergence of Russia as a world superpower, etc etc.  I wonder how Putin feels about it, and others in the new Russian establishment.
