Should white Southerners be asked to apologize and condemn Dylann Roof's acts of racial violence?

No, just like Muslims don't.

They do, however, need to look at their shared history of support for the Confederate flag, and the racist attitudes that still lurk within their community, and work to root them out.

Whether Muslims have similar work to do, I'd say that's a can of worms that probably shouldn't be opened in this thread.

Your claim is based on semantics. The video shows the Fox anchor and guest demanding the Muslim community speak out against (i.e. apologize for) the attack.

Muslims should not be asked to apologize for acts of terror they did not themselves commit. That is unreasonable.

Asking them to condemn, on the other hand, that is reasonable. Especially when the perpetrators cite being Muslim as their justification.

So yes, I would agree it's perfectly reasonable to ask White people to condemn Dylann Roof, since Dylann Roof cited being White as his justification.

As a White person, I condemn Dylann Root. Shooting random Black people is bad. I imagine you will find very few White people who have a hard time saying the same.

The way this seems to be ending/beginning, is, Virginia will be suing the long time democrat strongholds of Jim Crow, Robert Bird and his KKK club for theft of a definition and of its property, using the same precedence established possibly from the homosexual wedding thing. 

Virginian's will accept the apology and other things, of course.
