We dindt ally with Stalin because he was the lesser evil, we allied with him because Hitler declared war on both the USSR and us and becuase Hitler was the greater current threat.

Oh come on, we should of been supporting the Cubans rather than the fascists in South Africa, at least the cubans were fighting for economic fairness, social justice and black empowerment, whilst South Africa were fighting for white property rights, racism and well apartheid.

For it's all it's complete failings black ruled Southern Africa is 100x better than the alternative

If I see someone being murdered and I choose not to intervene, then I'm siding with the murderer, not being 'neutral.' Not taking sides in a conflict between the oppressor and the oppressed is, in practice, always siding with the oppressor, regardless of how superior 'staying neutral' makes you feel.

I would have armed and funded the MPLA and the Cubans to the max, both to the defend the revolution in Angola but to also bring the revolution to Apartheid South Africa.

Fidel Castro is also good buddies with Mandela. South Africa is very thankful for the support Cuba gave to black equality and the struggle for freedom.
