Let's say that pro-life activist Randall Terry had somehow successfully primaried President Barack Obama and won the Democratic nomination in 2012. How does he fare against Mitt Romney in the general election? Discuss with maps.

This is a really out there guess, but it seems to be an axis-shifting election.

Is providing the electoral vote breakdown for your map too much to ask?

I couldn't find the window that had them listed. Basically Jill Stein ends up doing better then expected and throwing it to the house.

After Terry is able to clinch enough delegates, polls show Romney up by a 2:1 margin over him. In a desperate plea, Democrats promise Terry a cabinet position and a number of concessions on abortion if he drops out. However, due to the anti-Obama sentiments that were created in the primary, Democrats instead opt to run Hillary Clinton in 2012, who selects former Senator Evan Bayh as her running mate.

With all of the drama going on in the Democratic primaries, Romney is able to define himself early, and despite a last-second surge from Clinton, wins big on Election Day.

Former Governor Mitt Romney - 413 EV
Activist Randall Terry - 128 EV

Mittens sweeps every state that a Republican could conceivably win.

If Romney actually faced off against Terry, he would win all 538 Electoral Votes, including D.C. Democrats would far prefer Romney to Terry, and only a small portion of Republicans would actually switch over to vote for Terry.

This, except flip Michigan and make Obama run with Biden. Clinton wouldn't do that to her boss.
