I agree it was courageous, but also politically motivated.
He's still sucking up attention in the airwaves. This isn't the only media story about him in the last few weeks. He's not acting like a guy who has accepted leaving the stage to make way for new leaders.
Why is that?
If he won't be a last minute candidate this time around (which I don't think he will, due to Jeb being in the field), he'll definitely consider and pobably run for the 2020 nomination. Though so will probably Jeb, Rubio, Rand Paul and a few others as well.
