This looks like Santorum is the one with guts and Romney makes a calculated move to say something popular in the wake of incident that will sway people's beliefs. Courage is calling it out when you support something not popular and have everything to lose - if this was said before the incident, then that would be courage.. Romney is not even running - he has nothing to lose.
