Famed composer James Horner has been reported dead after a plane he owned crashed in Cali last night.  Hearing various reports the last hour or so but it looks like he was flying the plane and something happened to cause it. RIP sir.

What's your favorite score of his?

The man who composed this:

and

commands much respect from me,...RIP, RIP.

I'm quite a fan of what he did for Willow, An American Tail, the Star Trek films and Braveheart (excellent score despite the rest of it being schlock), none compare to Land Before Time though.

James wasn't my favorite (I tie between J Goldsmith, G Revell, and B Conti,) but James did some awesome work.

I like Jumanji's the best because of how it reminds me of my childhood and days gone by.   Similarly Legends of the Fall and Apollo 13 do the same for me as they move my soul and make me feel wonderful inside. I always feel like anything's possible when I listen to those songs.

I was a bit indisposed when I heard the news, but it's a horrible loss... His Heart will go On, but for me Shiva starts now.
