I'm having trouble following your logic here.

This isn't like drug abuse where one can at least argue that the state shouldn't do anything despite the immorality of the act because the user isn't harming anyone but themselves.* If the fetus is a person, abortion is an act of violence against them and the state should intervene.

*Obviously I disagree with this premise but at least it's plausible.

I believe woman should be treated as autonomous human beings, not baby-making devices.  Reproductive rights are incredibly basic to human dignity and if you don't respect that, you're not treating woman as equal to men.   Furthermore, I think giving women control of their own bodies and lives is a huge plus for society, as is family planning.

Pro-choice.

Pro Choice but once the baby hits a certain point (2nd/3rd trimester,) the line should be stopped and the baby kept unless in a life or death situation for the mom.

I do believe abortions should be offered instantly in case of rape or incest. Its up to the mom if she wants it or not.

I am pro-life in all cases.

I believe that abortion is murder, thus meaning that it is always wrong, no matter what.

That's actually exactly the job of the government. Else why would we have it? And I echo Mr. Fine's comments.

It exists to ensure domestic tranquility and allow people to succeed, not put the morality of the person that happens to be in charge into law. All the progressives here talk about how gay marriage laws shouldn't be based on personal morality, so the same should go for all laws.

You do realize you have literally endorsed murdering women who might need an abortion in order to live by saying this?
