How many states would former Virginia Sen. Jim Webb win in the primaries if he runs for president in 2016?

If he runs and stays in through Super Tuesday, he'll probably beat out Sanders for second place in most of the South and may win some rural counties, but I have a difficult time seeing him win any state.

Realistically, none.

If West Virginia wasn't so late on the calendar (currently May 10th) I could see him having a shot there. But as it is, I can't see him doing much better than 2nd in South Carolina due to the media's "Oh, we forgot about him" bounce that Huntsman got in New Hampshire in '12. He could probably get a solid showing in Alabama and Tennessee on Super Tuesday if he stays in, but not anywhere close to a plurality, although he may be able to hold Hillary to under 50% in Oklahoma.

I could see him winning WV, maybe.  He MIGHT be a "favorite son" from VA, but I doubt it with Terry McAuliffe as Governor.

Probably none, but he might come close in a couple of states like West Virginia.

His best bet for having an impact/trolling the Democratic Party would be to campaign aggressively in Oklahoma.
