What can Sanders do to gain minority voters?

With all this hoopla about Sanders inability to appeal to voters of minority background, what can his campaign do to gain his support? Should Sanders keep banging the drums on Clinton economic stances that could intrigues those who think Clinton is just another sellout Washington politician not looking out for the interest of the people?  He did march with the civil rights activists, maybe he should highlighted that in his campaign speeches to show he was at the forefront of history.

No amount of populist rhetoric will help him.

He needs to reach out to local community leaders.  He needs to have a conversation with these people about the issues important to their communities and show a genuine attempt to see where they're coming from.
