Pretty much every recent election here has had a sh**t load of late movement towards the Liberals.

It's the rule of the past 20 years or so, the Libs gain about 4% during the campaign, usually from the undecideds/swingers, who don't get included in most polling numbers. Which is part of the reason why Abbott is known to have said to colleagues, "if we get to 48-52, we can win"

The polls for yesterday's Greek referendum were pretty far out, though they mostly just about got the right side winning.
