Change of Plans: Skipping ahead to Virginia in honor of the College World Series finale tonight (Beat Vandy!!) - a state with two power sports schools - UVA and Va Tech, two political pipelines - William & Mary and Washington & Lee (in addition to UVA), and no shortage of underdogs pulling upset specials - George Mason, VCU and ODU to say the least but you could add more. Richmond and JMU have wonderful football programs. And Liberty is the new home of the religious right!

In the last poll, Ohio State claimed their spot on the map with just 25% as people couldn't coalesce around a single MAC school. Holy Cross also broke the tie to steal the Minutemen's spot on the map.

Lots of teams I root for, but no obvious standout. All the traditional CAA schools are tons of fun to play. The first 8 vary a lot by each sport/season/campus/academic measure, but the close aggregate goes
[1] Old Dominion
[2] VCU
[3] Richmond
[4] UVA
[5] William & Mary
[6] Liberty
[7] Va Tech - I actually do root for them in ACC football but FCS upsets come first!
[8] James Madison
--
[9] Washington and Lee
--
[10] Norfolk State
[11] George Mason
[12] Radford
[13] Hampton
--
[14] Longwood
[15] VMI

V Tech I guess.

Not really my favorite but none of the small well known colleges are that interesting.  Would have went with UVA but after they screwed up the Rape deal? No thanks.
