A poll would be too damn big. Don't care about their standings in the polls. If put in the White House, who would do the best job?

This is an opinionated question obviously, so Paul. Though he wouldn't get the most done, as some Republicans and all Democrats could successfully block him (especially in the Senate, which will probably be very close). Someone like Kasich or Bush would get the most done.

Definitely Jeb Bush, with Ted Cruz doing the worst.

Based on my bias I think Senator Paul would be the best overall President, but I think Governor Kasich would do a pretty good job from an unbiased viewpoint.

Kasich appears to be the only one who understands what it means to compromise, so I'd have to say him.

In Polish, "jeb" means basically an imperative for "f**king"

I think Kasich. He has solid instincts and the best resume (House leadership, Governor)

Kasich won't be the next president cause he doesn't speak Spanish.
(Also, Florida has more EVs than Ohio.)

I'm willing to bet 1200$ that the next president will either be a female or be a fluent Spanish-speaker. And by the way, it won't be Fiorina. Tongue

I thought the thread was about who'd be best in office not who's gonna win :/

Only graphically. You would have to mispronounce the "j" the "German" way Smiley

Jeb Bush. His focus would be economic growth, he'd be a decisive leader on foreign policy, and he'd look to tackle tax reform, entitlement reform, and immigration reform. He'd work with both parties yet stick to his principles, tell people the truth, and inspire hope.

The absolute worst would be Donald Trump. He would get nothing done, not even congressional Republicans would work with him, he'd alienate people, and he'd only talk about himself. The fact that Trump is running shows how utterly delusional he is, much like Pat Buchanan and Pat Robertson except he is even more clueless on actual issues.

This.

Second choice would be John Kasich. Marco Rubio would be good too.

Gilmore. The only governor running who did not make major missteps during his term, and one of the few with solid foreign policy credentials. I may not agree with him on a lot of issues, but it's hard to see how a Gilmore presidency could be any worse than neutral and uneventful.

Paul or Pataki are the only two I would find tolerable.

Republicans don't get things done in California, which is why you have expensive failing schools, more pension debt than any state in America, and why for the first time, young people are less likely to attend college than their parents. It's why California is too expensive to live, work, and raise a family.
