Leading Republican presidential candidate goes into all out war against the leading Spanish speaking network over racist comments about Mexicans...Reince Preibus must be banging his head against a desk somewhere. Trump's anti immigrant anti-Mexican talk is like Todd Akin's 'legitimate rape' comment. It is going to tarnish the party with an entire group.
I am surprised that Bush has yet to call out Trump over this. He must know how much coverage Trump is getting in the Latino press. He could win big points for attacking Trump over this. Is he waiting to score points in the debate? Does he think he should just ignore Trump? Is he afraid of the nativist base?
I'm pretty sure Bush, along with every other serious Republican contender for President, is deliberately ignoring Donald Trump. They have more to lose and less to gain in a dispute with Trump. He isn't worth the time or energy.
