If Jim Webb somehow won the Democratic presidential nomination, would you vote for him in the GE, or would you stay home, or vote for a liberal third-party candidate?

It would depend on whether or not the Greens or Libertarians had a decent candidate (ie someone who has at least held office). If not (and assuming that there wasn't another liberal challenger), I might hold my nose and vote for Webb. If Paul was the republican nominee, I'd vote for Paul.

I disagree with him about the Confederate flag but ultimate it is not a very important issue. He is a generic Democrat on all other issues and he was against the Iraq War.

I would vote for him in a match up against any Republican.

I don't imagine any third party candidates would sway me.

He is not a Republican, so yes.

Yes, without a doubt.  No amount of ideological 'integrity' is worth the real life consequences of elections.  I wonder if Nader voters in Florida ended up regretting their votes when Bush was sworn in.

I'd consider Kasich, otherwise, yes.

No because I live in Utah and my vote doesn't matter. I can express my disliking or liking of candidate with no fear of playing spoiler. I'd probably vote Green or Justice or whatever.

Unless Jim Webb is somehow so good that he can make Utah a swing state.

Unless the GOP nominates Paul I'd just vote third party.

Unlikely. In a word, he's not qualified. The Pubs would have to nominate someone even less qualified than him, or otherwise toxic to me, e.g. Cruz (as the one Pub untouchable with some vague possibility of getting nominated). There's a fairly long list of Pub untouchables that won't be nominated of course.

No. Jim Webb has as much of a chance in the general as whoever the Green Party puts up, so I might as well vote for them.

Voted yes, but wont get nomination. The party has moved to left on flag and guns, and he is the conservative in room. Just like Chafee who was a GOPer.

Sanders or Clinton will be nominee

Yes. Personal reservations aside, he's still objectively better than any of the Republican candidates.

So you would vote for someone who voted to invade Iraq?

But not for someone who wants to keep the Confederate flag over cemeteries?

The Confederate flag is a greater injustice than the Iraq War?

I would vote for Clinton but not Webb, either. Webb seems scarily hawkish when it comes to the Far East, and a war there would be x1,000 worse than Iraq.

Technically not a democrat, I'd probably vote for Stein.

I would vote for Webb in a swing state and Stein in a non-swing state.

Sorry to break it to you but I am able to care about more than one or two issues at a time.
