SNP hold Angus

King is back in contention in BG&B... too close again. Expect recounts. And court cases.

I'm getting live coverage on CSPAN2

just FYI.  Smiley

So are we (and some of us on C-SPAN 2 by RealPlayer)  Smiley

LD's have held Torbay

Gerald Kaufman (one of my heroes) seems to have won in Gorton again Smiley

He his (I've met him). The LibDem guy who ran against him was a race baiting pile of sh*t (and a LibDem activist in the Brum seat he ran in last time told be he was supporting Gerald there)

Recount in Manchester Withington. How odd; I thought we were safe there but in trouble in Newcastle Central. Turns out it were the other way.

Tories gained Pottyborough (no suprise there; the Labour incumbet was her own worst enemy)

So far Labour is 0 for 3 on their 80 most critical seats to defend.

I stand corrected.  CNN just did a five nanosecond bit on blair being the First Labour Leader Ever to Win A Third Consecutive Term as PM.  or something like that.  it flew by really quickly.  the boy's asleep.  Finally! and I'm just surfing.  I now return you...
