I love that 3-way battleground graphic.
Strange that Conservatives are +0 and Lib Dems +3 nationally in the exit poll, but the battleground projects a bunch on Lib Dem seats falling to Tories and no the other way around.

Yeah, that was pretty fun.  Looks like a good night for the Tories if that battleground thing was right.

So a Labour majority of 66 is not too far off considering this result

No, at least according to the BBC that looks about right.

What are the best websites to go to track the results as they come in?

Well, there is the BBC website, but I recommend watching C-SPAN2 (assuming you are an American).  They are broadcasting the BBC feed.

Question for the yanks: is your CSPAN coverage brom BBC or BBC World? Im watching BBC World, and they keep mentioning the "international viewers". Quite nice of them.

Honestly, I don't know.  I think its the regular BBC, not BBC World, because I haven't heard anything about international viewers, and all the coverage appears to be focused on domestic stuff.  I couldn't say for certain though.

Law (Ind Lab) has won a majority of over 10,000 in BG

What was the issue there?

I believe Labour forced a female candidate to be selected, so Law ran as an independent.

Forced a female candidate?  That's ridiculous.

Try BBC World. Great coverage so far.

That's not exactly an American television channel.

Bethnal Green and Bow: Galloway wins

36% Respect, 34% Labour

Any Republican who is freaking out at the prospect of Bernie Sanders getting elected to Senate needs to look at this result...it could be much worse. Wink

That's true.  This is absolutely horrible, I'm glad I don't live there.

How in hell can they put that as their leading story??
What's bad with the American Media?? is just plain ridiculous.
Has anybody opened a thread somewhere to discuss these kind of things? (not the runaway bride, but the fact that the media pay attention to that sort of things).

Yeah, and it's not any one station either.  Fox, CNN, etc. all do it
