After some more thought, with how close this may wind up, I'd only be mildly upset if Danby lost, but if it results in a coalition majority I'll be happy.

I don't know why the ABC have just gone to some long boring speech from some backbench MP; I want to know what the results are

Looks like it will be L/NP with 76 seats looking at where we are in the seats in doubts and projected swings.

Yes. Xenophon is from SA but is unknown elsewhere.

If the parties leading take them, it'll be 75-70, but with the ALP on less than 0.5% in 3 seats, I suspect you'll see a narrow Coalition majority in the end.

Even if  L/NP  ends up with 75 I assume they can get KAP to back them to get a majority.   Also what would be the position of Andrew Wilkie on L/NP government?

they also won't be able to pass the double dissolution trigger bills in a joint session if the Senate is anything like we expect it to be

Looking at the primary votes for One Nation in rural Queensland, it's a sign that it needs to be killed with fire.

It's looking like that the remaining seats will go to the current leaders

I also think it will be a hung parliament: 75-70, L/NP with plurality

Pauline Hanson has been elected to the Senate. One Nation is at 1.4 quotas in Queensland. They also have 0.6 in NSW.

L/NP  wins or leads with only 74 now.  I assume this will change once postal votes are counted.
