Gore's endorsement holds a lot of clout in the Democratic Party, so if he were to endorse Sanders, it would only add to the Berniementum.

However, I think he'll most likely just not endorse anyone in the primary race.

He didn't say it was too early to pick Hillary. He said it was too early to predict who would win, and it is considering the elections not for another year and a half., but that he hopes Hillary does.
