Freedom City, though it needs to densify to get housing prices under control.

Agree with you about the pizza. It's horrible and expensive. Mostly only tourists and rich people buy it. Poor New Yorkers buy pizza at Little Caesars or Dominos because it's cheap and also actually better.

New York pizza is thin and greasy as hell. Add to that the fact that because of high rents, pizza places literally can't afford to run their ovens and try to cut corners by cooking every pizza only half way. So not only is it thin and greasy, it's thin, greasy, and basically dough.

Freedom City on balance though more of one before Ghouliani and Bloomborg destroyed its soul for the highest tourist bidder and made it unaffordable for working people and artists.

Ah yes, the "soul" being a spectacular crime rate and over two-thousand murders a year.

Why can't we go back to those good ol' days?

What are you talking about?  That's not the least bit true.  Get your facts straight.

There was really life in the city back in the times of peep shows, squeegee men, and crack cocaine that there just isn't any more, you know?

The artists were a catalyst of the change, not its victims. They can still live in the city... in Upper Manhattan. Who knows, if they do, maybe 25 years from now Hamilton Heights will be the city's coolest neighbourhood.
