I'd vote Cheney.

What would a map look like?

how would you make a map between two neo-conservatives?  How would they campaign against eachother?  I mean I guess W could say something like "Dick's for gays", since Cheney is supportive of his lesbian daughter.  I'd say W, based on he has warmer personality, but I don't like either.

Cheney more socially liberal and more economically conservative. He would also exhibit better control than W.

Cheney is not a neo-con.

He'd likely support civil unions for gays but other than that, on social issues, I think he's the same as Bush.  He's even worse than Bush on the death penalty -- he wants to make it a capital crime to be treasonous.

I hope it never comes this far but Dubya would win the election. Cheney can't match Bush's charisma.

Uh, no. If it was just these two, most Democrats would go Cheney, most independents would go Cheney, and the Republicans would split.

Cheney has one major problem, health.  The VP would be important.

I thought you were against gay civil unions and wanted to replace the death penalty with hard labor Roll Eyes

He can't do anything about civil unions as president, and death penalty is preferable to nothing. I only care about innocent people being put to death; thus my reluctance to embrace the death penalty in general.
