how would you make a map between two neo-conservatives?  How would they campaign against eachother?  I mean I guess W could say something like "Dick's for gays", since Cheney is supportive of his lesbian daughter.  I'd say W, based on he has warmer personality, but I don't like either.

Uh, no. If it was just these two, most Democrats would go Cheney, most independents would go Cheney, and the Republicans would split.

He can't do anything about civil unions as president, and death penalty is preferable to nothing. I only care about innocent people being put to death; thus my reluctance to embrace the death penalty in general.
