At this point I can't tell if this Trump surge is a joke or starting to become real....

At this point I'm thinking it's just a temporary bounce like Cruz had in Late March/April. If it's still there after the first debate, then perhaps he is truly a frontrunner for the nomination.

I wonder what'll happen if Trump's bounce isn't temporary...

It is very temporary, but if he somehow was to be nominated, expect Hillary Clinton to win 45-48 states.

You do know what his actual positions on your pet social issues are, don't you?

Plus the fact that he was a democrat during the Clinton administration

Only 16 candidates?  Jim Gilmore isn't good enough for a PPP poll, huh?

Poor Gilmore. Any updates on his pal Ehrlich?

The Ehrlich 2016 Twitter account has largely gone dark of late, except to note that he'll be talking about foreign policy in Providence, RI this week:

But since Rhode Island isn't an early primary state, I have no idea what this is supposed to mean.

The fact that Jindal has arguably the most perfect record of all the candidates, in terms of pure red meat to give to primary voters, and is still polling consistently at the very bottom of the pack, blows my mind.

Like, if he wasn't such a hatable pandering dips**t he'd be unstoppable.

Honestly, how many people do you think know his name? If Jindal had a sugar daddy, he'd be polling far higher than he is.

It's not as if he's stayed hidden in Louisiana all this time. He gave the republican response to the 2009 SOTU, and in 2013 he made headlines for calling the republican party the 'stupid party'.

Trump will probably stay on his bump for a bit longer then Cruz since he has better name recognition by then he will get on the stage actually have to say what he believes in, make a joke of himself and implodes.
