Do you mean withdraw cash as in empty a bank account? Or just take out some money? I wouldn't see the point of the former, unless your particular bank was highly exposed to Greek debt.

Now, closing your account and swapping your euros for dollars might be a good idea, considering that the euro is expected to fall quite a bit once this has all played out. But just taking out the money will not help you; falling exchange rates would affect hard cash no differently than they would money in banks.

Yeah, I don't get it. Why would your money be more secure in cash than in an account? If the euro collapses (which isn't very likely) you'll take a hit either way.
