I think it's a good poll for the crosstabs and the insights into popularity of specific issues and into the mindset of unmarried women.

Overall, a bit skewed towards Democrats. 27% of sample is liberal, and just 25% is conservative. 51% voted for Obama compared to just 40% for Romney.

She almost has the same performance Obama has with minorities and does a lot stronger with white unmarried women and white millennials.

Sample is Obama +11, while 2012 was Obama +4. So, adjusting the results 7 points in favor of the republicans gives these as the actual results:

Clinton Tied with Walker
Clinton leading Rubio by 2.

lol, it's not even 2016 yet and the Republicans are already frantically "unskewing" polls again!

I'm just saying hi, so we can savor our respective colors of the great state of NY, back to back. Life takes curious turns, no?  Smiley

1. I don't identify with the republican party and disagree with them on several issues, most notably Obamacare and defense spending.

2. None of what I did in that post is based on wishful thinking, it is instead based on actual data.

You're assuming that the 2016 electorate is going to be the same as the 2012 electorate.

Sorry Republicans, maybe you should just accept that Hillary is going to win in the greatest landslide since 1984.

Might as well just surrender now. She's inevitable. There's nothing you can do.

I thought it was pretty obviously facetious.

Fox 43-43 Clinton &Jeb tied
WSJ 47-43 Clinton narrowly leads Jeb

Yes, state by state polling looks better but RV is done by PPP vs LV screen, that Fox, Mason Dixon and Rasmussen does.

It's the 2016 board. It's hard to tell.

True enough. I forgot where I was for a second.

The crosstabs are interesting, but I would agree that the polls is probably pretty crappy.

The topline GE number in this poll isn't the point. In a way Democracy Corps polls are like the Rove polls in that they have a different agenda than regular polls. In this case it isn't fundraising but message testing. All those questions about different policy positions is the point of the poll, and in this case testing with the oversample groups. DC is trying to shape the debate for Dem candidates. A lot of this is for downballot candidates to know what kind of messaging works and what doesn't and where are the landmines from the GOP.

The Hillary v Bush, etc numbers are sideshows.
