I'm thinking he'll be motivated by the tragic loss of his son to pursue his dream of the presidency.

I've got no f[inks]ing idea what Biden is doing. He's the wild card in this election.

No. I think he waited to see what Hillary was going to do. Now that she's in, he'll exit politics gracefully.

No.

I disagree with Joe Biden on the issues, but he's a good man.

I think his son's death could motivate him to enter or not to enter. It's one of those things that we won't know the exact thought process behind for many years (likely until is autobiography comes out).

I am of the view that Joe Biden, while he originally was impressed by Hillary's invincibility, no longer is, particularly given Beau's wish and for Joe, his family is everything to him. He will make a run. He is motivated and compelled to do so more than ever. Beau Biden's death is the wildcard in the Democratic nominating process. And Hillary may rue the day that Joe Biden ever even existed. He is inoculated by his son's passing, Hillary for one must be worried. All her carefully laid plans might just be up in smoke,  for that reason I'm happy. She can't attack Joe, over what? If she does and stakes a position that nobody could rebutt before. Joe is the ultimate insider. He can undermine Hillary on a whole lot of issues and if Democrats see that Hillary has too many vulnerabilities, they will bail, especially considering the alternatives. Biden might be seen in a new light. Not saying he could win, but the longer Hillary is around, she's everyone's favorite judas goat at the moment, mine included. Joe is in no rush to make any announcement, the longer he waits, the better he looks and his "rationale" for getting in looks more plausible and stronger at the end of the day. I voted yes too.

I think the odds are about 50-50 myself that he will. I strongly suspect he really wants to. He just needs to see a path to victory, even if that path is problematic. I also suspect that he agrees with me, that Hillary has been less than impressive so far.

I think Biden will run if and only if Hillary drops out for some reason.

He has absolutely no campaign staff and has made no attempts whatsoever to get endorsements, does very little to attract donors...and come on, it's practically July of 2015.

There is no fricking way Biden is going to run, we would've seen SOMETHING from him by now.

If Bernie can get this close then Joe is probably thinking he has a chance.

If Bernie can get this close then Joe is probably thinking he has a chance.

That's because Bernie actually has significantly different views than Hillary.

I do not believe he will enter the race.

He does not want to lose to Hillary.

By not running, he would be retiring with an enviable record of public service to his state and nation.

I think he has an overinflated ego and that  he is living in a fantasy world if he thinks he has a chance.

As much as I would support Clinton in the general, I think it would be fantastic if the Obama wing came out on top again.

I hope he runs, and as to if I think he will...I really cannot tell.

FWIW, PredictIt's odds on Biden running have jumped by 30 points within the past two days or so. I'll be a betting man and say that he will.
