Considering the whole break-down of Atlasia thing, maybe it would be cool if we started a NationStates region for Atlasians as an addition or alternative.

Everyone would be able to create their own nation and come up with it's government, economy, history, geography, culture, etc. We would have our own forum and most of it would be RP between the nations. There would be an international parliament, conventions, foreign affairs, wars, etc.

Just an idea... I will start a region for us if I see significant support. We would probably get Atlasians to start it up but eventually it will open to all players, of course.

Please comment with any additional ideas or input.

Thanks! Smiley

Within the bounds of reason... of course it would all be fictional; foreign affairs and international interactions would have to stay realistic, but I have no problem with you having fictional components (unicorns, etc.) within your own nation as long as they do not affect others.

Of course, if it turns out the majority of those willing to participate would rather have either more or less restricted limits of realism, I'll probably just go with what the most people want.

i thought regions could be password-locked?

They can be. I've also never heard of widespread Korean spambot nations, though that might be just me.

OMG NationStates is still going??  I had a profile there before I joined here, over ten years ago.  Frankly I'm amazed.

No, I meant that we started getting spambots here on the atlas forum. I figured it was a coincidence but I deleted the region just to be safe. I thought it possible they were somehow being led here from Nationstates.

Nah, spambots aren't that smart.

Unless you had direct links, maybe.
