Sandersmentum. He's going to end up with a third of the delegates and primetime speaking spot at the DNC. Not bad, old man.

Effectively a 4 way tie for first on the Republican side.  Business as usual.

Yeah but unlike Ted Kennedy (or Chris Christie) he will in his speech shower the nominee with praise.

PS Trump!!

5% for Chafee?!? Wow.

I suspect that may be in part due to the fact that PPP doesn't randomize their list.

25% is very respectable for Sanders in Michigan.

Dat Sanders number though. He is on the move everywhere now.

Also, wonder why Chafee is seemingly slightly more than a blip on the radar here?

But two of them are Trump and Carson. Joke party.

On the GOP side, who leads among:
moderates: Bush
somewhat conservative: Bush
very conservative: Walker
men: Walker
women: Bush/Carson tie
age 18-45: Bush
age 46-65: Walker
age 65+: Bush

On the Democratic side:

men:
Clinton 48%
Sanders 36%

women:
Clinton 63%
Sanders 17%

whites:
Clinton 53%
Sanders 26%

blacks:
Clinton 74%
Sanders 17%

Race and sex are strongly correlated with Sanders support, as shown above.  But there isn't really much dependence on age.  He's at 24% among age 18-45, 26% among age 46-65, and 22% among age 65+.

An interesting nugget here.  One measure of name recognition is the %age of voters who say "not sure" when asked about their favorability of a candidate.  Lower "not sure" means higher name recognition.  For example, here's the "not sure" among various groups in this poll for Hillary Clinton:

men: 10%
women: 10%
whites: 9%
blacks: 11%

So basically no difference among those groups.  But for Sanders:

men: 29%
women: 43%
whites: 34%
blacks: 51%

So the groups that are less likely to support him, women and blacks, are also less likely to know who he is.  Suggesting that he has some room for growth.

On the other hand, there are some real differences in favorability, even among those who know him.

Sanders favorability by subgroup:
men: +39%
women: +12%
whites: +31%
blacks: -1%

Clinton in danger of losing the male vote, barely breaking 50% with whites, and is already seeing a significant minority of blacks (26%) considering opposing her.

It's pretty clear that the days of her having a 90%+ chance of winning the nomination are over.

Middle aged white men seem to prefer Walker and Sanders, while everyone else are pretty much preferring Clinton and Bush.

Sander at 17% with MI blacks? That's definitely better than I would have expected.

All the Republicans are at 20% with MI blacks in the general matchups.  Something's off here.
