Does this mean he gets Fiorina's Iowa delegate?

Based on this it looks like her delegate is bound to her for at least the first round

Chicago Tribune for Rubio

http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/opinion/editorials/ct-marco-rubio-tribune-endorsement-clinton-sanders-0310-md-20160309-story.html

And, since I believe that only Kasich had an (outside) chance in IL, this pretty much guarantees vote splitting and a Trump victory! They should frame this endorsement and put it next to the Dewey beats Truman headline!

Kasich has no chance and Rubio could drop out by Tuesday so let us see what happens.

Rubio is the only candidate that can beat Trump in Florida right now, due almost solely to the huge number of early votes that he has already banked. If he drops out, those votes will have been wasted and they will not be able to go to someone else like Cruz or Kasich.

This is why we should just get rid of early voting in presidential primaries or at the very least do it like Massachusetts does there's

Florida is a lost cause.  Rubio leaving the race will boost Kasich in Ohio and Cruz/Kasich everywhere else on March 15.

Interesting.  Of course, if we get into the yellow press territory, this implies that Angelina Jolie will now counterendorse either Kasich or Cruz! Smiley

Absentee ballots only if you are either out of town during the election, can't vote because of religious beliefs or a psychical impairment. Other than that you have to vote on Election Day. It makes since for presidential primaries because they can change in less than an hour.

I don't understand why they did this. Do they really think he can win?

Kasich couldn't win here, either. Republicans live disproportionately outside Chicagoland. Just where would Kasich be able to put together a coalition big enough to take down Trump? If he couldn't do it in Michigan, I don't see how he does it in a state with more southern/western territory including substantial territory south of the Mason-Dixon Line.

Urban Meyer for Kasich!

For those who are not college football fans, Meyer is the Ohio State football coach. Ohio State University (student body around 65,000) is the largest college in OH and the third largest in the US (and yes, this is a BIG endorsement in OH)!

I might be a bigger college football nut than political nut, and that endorsement is huge in Ohio (but, I do hate Ohio State because they represent the SEC's main antagonist).

Mike Lee to endorse Cruz.

Another indication that Rubio is ready to drop out after Florida.

Maybe Lee? I dunno, this is a bit unexpected.

Hah, nailed it.

Though it wasn't that hard to guess.
