Let's dispel with this fiction that Nikki Haley doesn't know what she's doing. She knows exactly what she's doing.

Looks like she has no interest to be TRUMP's running mate.

It's sad all these efforts by the establishment to resurrect Rubio's candidacy.
It's like when a dog's master dies and he refuses to abandon his body.

It won't be enough for Rubber Ducky to actually, you know, win.

Funny thing is Rubio is conservative not establishment.

He already endorsed Marco Rubio. Thus giving American the Indian point of view, obviously!

Very good news for Marco. Hopefully this can help propel him into a strong 2nd place finish and accumulate a decent amount of delegates in SC.

Surprised she endorsed him over Jeb to be honest.

I don't get the whole "not calling people by their preferred name" thing.

This is pretty surprising. I thought she'd endorse Jeb! if anyone. I guess he's really dead.

Polls show Congressman Harris losing his primary challenge, so take that endorsement however you like.
To Smiegel?Huh If so that is the best news I have heard so far, today!

Thats all i pretty much got out of it as well. Her not endorsing Jeb tells me hes in for a bad night Saturday and probably won't last much longer in this race. 80 million dollars and counting, well spent gentleman, well spent.

One poll I saw showed Smiegel up 2-1.

http://www.cnn.com/2016/02/17/politics/nikki-haley-endorses-marco-rubio/index.html

Endorsements usually aren't that large, but this is definitely huge. She is well liked among the Republicans of SC and has a nationwide face in politics. This could project Rubio to #2 in SC.

Among people this benefits, Cruz is still only 2nd place behind Trump who will continue to enjoy a divided opposition.

While they can generate a news buzz, the tangible effects on endorsements seem to have eroded notably this cycle. The insurgent candidates have supporters (and an electorate more broadly) which cares little about what politicians say or believe to begin with and while it may influence some voters, it is unlikely to change the minds of anyone who was not previously going to support the Jeb Bush types.

Overall, I think its interesting, but irrelevant.
