https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Endorsements_for_the_Republican_Party_presidential_primaries,_2016

Jeb Bush already has the endorsements of 100% of all living Republican former presidents.  Hillary Clinton has the endorsements of 50% of all living Democratic former presidents so far.

I have inserted the endorsements of former Presidents, current/former U.S. Senator, current/former U.S. Representatives, current/former U.S. Governors and current State Office Holders.

I'll insert soon State Legislators and if I forgot someone and if you find news, please post it on this thread. Smiley

538 has an interesting system of comparing endorsements.  Current Governors are worth 10 points, Senators are worth 5 points, and representatives are worth 1 point.  The logic being that with 435 representatives, 100 Senators, and 50 governors, each office has roughly equal weight.

By this metric we have:

Republicans:
Jeb Bush: 18 points
Rand Paul: 12 points
Chris Christie: 10 points
Mike Huckabee: 10 points
Ted Cruz: 5 points
Lindsey Graham: 5 points
Scott Walker: 2 points
Marco Rubio: 1 point
Rick Santorum: 1 point

Democrats:
Hillary Clinton: 133 points

Not a clear endorsment, but I did find an interesting picture that I wanted to share and this seemed to be the best place.

Ayotte marched with (at least) Jeb Bush in one of the NH July 4th parades today.

Not sure if this is a good link, but Patty Murray posted this on Facebook when Hillary Clinton announced her run: https://www.facebook.com/pattymurray/photos/a.425041443871.202325.131182018871/10153256370888872/?type=1&theater

Andrew Napolitano is a joke and he is not an expert on anything he talks about in the media.  If you listen to him speak, you can tell that he's not any kind of Constitution expert.

And, I looked it up.  He was never a Judge on the New Jersey Supreme Court.

Superior Court and lol at him not being a constitutional expert

There are hundreds of trial court judges in New Jersey.  He was a trial court judge who probably mostly saw slip and fall cases.  He's just a media personality.

Andrew Napolitano is a bloviating dumb-dumb, and it speaks to the intellectual vapidity of the libertarian "movement" that he would be their go-to constitutional law scholar.

You have an example of a "dumb-dumb" comment of his?  Color me curious. I have not heard him say anything myself that I considered way, way out there, but that does not mean that he hasn't.

Gold-bug, Federal reserve conspiracy theorist, 9/11 truther, crazy views on the Civil war, etc., etc.

His role on the right is that he's a non-expert and a dumb-dumb so he can say whatever Obama does is unconstitutional because he isn't constrained by having actual knowledge.

OK, he has kooky policy views, but that does not make him necessarily clueless when it comes to parsing the current play of the law as it is, as opposed to what he wants it to be.
