I kind of expected some 3rd place in a congressional primary candidate to endorse Bernie. I remember some people hyped up Nina Turner flip to Bernie, famous for her 24 point loss to a Republican, as a major endorsement as well.

Yeah, Flores' campaign is a total failure and her political career, after her 2014 shellacking, is basically over. This is a desperate move to drum up some publicity and raise some money.

It depends. Is she a superdelegate?

Of course not, only elected officials are.

So are DNC members, leaders, and past leaders (DNC heads and things like that).

Isn't this like the 20th time? I'm seeing this headline a lot lately.

That's pretty surprising considering how much they begged Warren to run earlier in the year.

They're very critical of Sanders in their endorsement of her.

Did you even read the endorsement? They said they were endorsing Hillary not because of Sanders' flaws, but because of Hillary's experience.

Did you read it?

I'm all about calling Scott Brown the loser that he is but this is a pretty good get for Trump. Better than Palin.

King is not; Sanders officially switched party registration last year, while King has not.

One I'm unsure about is DC Shadow Senator Michael Brown, who is perhaps an "independent Democrat" but is listed by the DC Democratic party as one of their own.

I actually posted nearly the exact same list a few pages back, though I completely forgot about Jon Bel Edwards.

I believe Rep. Yvette Clarke (NY) and Rep. Alan Grayson (FL) have endorsed Hillary, as well.

I would bet that JBE will never endorse anyone, even in the general.

Why?

It sounds like Sanders didn't even try to get their support. Probably a recurring theme. I don't expect there to be an exodus of any kind in terms of superdelegate support from Clinton to Sanders if he's not even courting them.

Well some of them weren't publicly supporting her before, so that's some more superdelegates for her. And they're all spreading out to black communities across South Carolina and the nation for the next few weeks.

NY Times for Kasich (in a editorial arguing that "Never Trump" should really be "for Kasich"). I agree with them about 99%. I particularly liked this part, explaining why the establishment is backing Cruz and not Kasich:

Some conservative leaders see Mr. Cruz as their best chance for maintaining their influence and are thus reluctant to work for Mr. Kasich. Others who backed Jeb Bush or Mr. Rubio resent Mr. Kasich for not yielding to their candidate. Others worry that Mr. Kasich’s views on the poor, Muslims and immigrants place him too far from the right to win in a brokered convention....But in a year when cruelty and exclusion stand as hallmarks of conservatism, “It would be courageous to stand up and say that Kasich is a different kind of conservative,” who doesn’t see government, or foreigners, as enemies, Mr. Olsen says. “These voters exist, and there’s a lot of them.”

http://mobile.nytimes.com/2016/04/02/opinion/why-should-never-trump-mean-ted-cruz.html

I feel like this is the third time the NYT has endorsed Kasich.
