Of course. Swalwell is just as much of a joke as O'Malley.

Weird. I would have tagged him as a hardcore Huckabee guy.

As did I, though Kasich has really been tugging on those religious person heart strings.

Giuliani is "cozying up" to team Kasich, but it's unclear if there's going to be an endorsement soon:

http://www.politico.com/story/2015/08/john-kasich-rudy-giuliani-2016-213185

Giuliani is pretty irrelevant nowadays, but the fact Bush doesn't have this endorsement in the bag is a sign of things to come. I mean, Giuliani basically tried running as a third term of George W. Bush in 2008.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/news/post-politics/wp/2015/09/21/rep-mick-mulvaney-endorses-rand-paul-for-president/

Rep. Mick Mulvaney (R-SC) endorsed Rand Paul. Damn, that's a good endorsement! I'm not sure how much it does, but it's a good endorsement to have.

I think this and the Michigan Straw Poll are both signs that Rand Paul is staying in the race. Whether or not that's a good thing for him is up for discussion, but I doubt he's the next to drop out.

Not sure why, but a bunch of Mississippi politicians, including Gregg Harper (MS-3) and Trent Lott, have endorsed Kasich.

Probably because Kasich invokes how god has blessed him every other speech. Yuck.

The old ghouls behind the Tea Party movement are suddenly realizing that they've created a monster. You think John Kasich is going to stop it? No way!

Somehow this seems like the most obvious endorsement ever. Despite it being something of a surprise that Gardner would endorse this early, I couldn't conceive of him endorsing anyone else.

I think this will begin the wave.

I don't see a single potential Sanders endorsement among that group. Earl Ray Tomblin could've endorsed Ebb the Webb, but Webb is out.

Markwayne (what a great name for Oklahoman, by the way) Mullin has surprised me at every turn. The guy hates Congress but proceded to run for another term, and he's been a pretty right wing congressman, very Tea Party, but goes ahead and endorses Rubio, who has since become a standard bearer for the establishment. I expected Mullin to go for Cruz, considering Bridenstine and Mullin probably vote more in common than the other three Oklahoma Congressmen.

So far Oklahoma has two endorsers

- Jim Bridenstine (my congressman) for Ted Cruz
- Markwayne Mullin for Marco Rubio

Here are my expectations for the other congressmen

Tom Cole for either of Jeb Bush or Marco Rubio, depending on who is ahead at that moment.
Frank Lucas for whoever the establishment candidate is (Kasich has strong armed a lot of 90s guys and Southern congressmen thanks to his god talk, there is a small chance Kasich gets his endorsement)
Steve Russell is someone I expect to go for Jeb Bush or Marco Rubio.

Senators:
Jim Inhofe - The Senate hates Cruz so much, and Inhofe, despite his whole attitude, is a go along to get along character, so I suspect he goes with the establishment candidate, but Inhofe is also crafty, and if it looks like Oklahoma is gung ho for Cruz, he may endorse Cruz.

James Lankford - Rubio or Bush. I don't see him endorsing Cruz.

And nobody wants Mary Fallin's endorsement, but she's an establishment Republican and will endorse the establishment candidate should that time come.

They also gave a slight to Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz. (and a slightly more minor one for Donald Trump).

Meanwhile, Trump gets a notable endorsement from multiple time Congressional candidate and general Tea Partier Brad Zaun. One of two pretty notable endorsements for Trump from Iowa (the other, of course, is his Iowa chair Sam Clovis, who did surprisingly well in the Iowa Senate primary in 2014 despite having no money.

Yeah conservative figures don't care about any of the values they say they care about. All they care about is selling sh**tty books to saps.

Brad Zaun for Trump, though who really cares

This happened a while ago and I think it was already addressed in this thread.

Interesting - I took Inhofe as one of few Senators who could be a potential Cruz endorser, but then that's if you forget Inhofe is pretty establishment for a hard righter. Rubio is a good fit on those grounds.

I actually kind of agree with cxs018 and ExtremeRepublican - Rubio is a hard right conservative Republican, maybe just as right-wing as Ted Cruz. Name me one issue Rubio and Cruz have any difference on beyond immigration? You can't name one, beyond the issue that Rubio is actually more conservative than Cruz on (Spying programs).

I kind of expected some 3rd place in a congressional primary candidate to endorse Bernie. I remember some people hyped up Nina Turner flip to Bernie, famous for her 24 point loss to a Republican, as a major endorsement as well.
