Heidi Alexander (Labour - Lewisham East)

Right-wing fixer type with a local government background and elected for an area that (appropriately enough) was once represented by Herbert Morrison. Currently working for Sadiq Khan's Mayoral campaign.

Also endorsed Andy Burnham-that makes you right wing in 2010, and left in 2015 Tongue

Gavin Barwell (Conservative - Croydon Central)

Longtime Tory hack. His seat was one of the most hotly contested Lab-Con battles and he scrapped back in by 165 votes. To be fair he has worked to reduce discrimination against the mentally ill.

His seat was our twinned seat, and we literally threw everything at that seat. Apart from sheffield Hallam it was the worse result of the night for me.

For an MP you have to respect him for his political skills-he's been a leading 'moderniser' in the party and distanced himself from the Tories in the election. He's one of the active MP's who really uses every single issue to get publicity

Simon Burns (Conservative - Chelmsford)

Served as a minister during the last parliament. Really doesn't like John Bercow, having once called him a "stupid sanctimonious dwarf" and refused to shake his hand after taking the oath. Is a 'passionate supporter' of the U.S. Democratic Party, which probably says more about the Democratic Party than it does Burns.

Funnily enough according to the Total Politics article he has 2,000 books on the Kennedy's, and named his son Bobby. That's extreme even for me

Cruddas is one of the people who were urged to run in 2015, he's a weird one who like Creasy attracts support from across the party, and is extremely hard to place in the party

Jim Dowd (Labour - Lewisham West and Penge)

German-born, former whip, was involved in a weird controversy over Worcester sauce a couple of years ago.

Also cried during Hillary Benn's speech, and pushed Bob Andrew Mitchell up against the wall of the commons bar
