Tasmina Ahmed-Sheikh (SNP - Ochil and South Perthshire)

One of the more visible members of the SNP intake. Has been a member of the Labour and Conservative Parties in the past.

She strikes me as somebody who looks better than she thinks (or indeed, speaks)

Peter Bone (Conservative - Wellingborough)

A particularly nasty right-winger; one of those who proposed an 'alternative Queen's Speech' which included such charming policies as reinstating capital punishment and banning the Burka. Once said that the NHS would "not be out of place in Stalin's Russia."

Probably his greatest Commons moment: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pkGpXM85qJE

His full list of alternative bills is quite the something to behold ..... http://www.conservativehome.com/thetorydiary/2013/06/the-alternative-queens-speech-the-full-list-of-40-rebel-bills.html

Luciana Berger   (Labour/Co-operative - Liverpool, Wavertree)

Formerly on the NEC of the NUS, she is known as a leading Zionist voice within Labour and has on several occasions received public anti-Semitic abuse. Also, she is the great niece of Attlee government minister Manny Shinwell.
And has had quite the relation with various members of the CLP who aren't so fond of her

Karen Bradley (Conservative - Staffordshire Moorlands)

Has the grand title of Undersecretary for Modern Slavery and Organised Crime. Contested Manchester Withington in 2005 where the defeated (by the Lib Dems) incumbent Labour MP was Keith Bradley (no relation AFAIK).

Also, she isn't the Vice-Chair of any football club. Tongue

This is how the Government website describes her responsibilities. I like the use of the word Commons in brackets at its very particular place......

Responsibilities
CSE/CSA (online and contact)
extremism (Commons)
mental health
modern slavery
VAWG
FGM
public protection
ASB, gangs, youth violence
hate crime
Parliamentary champion

Mickey Brady (Sinn Fein - Newry and Armagh)

At last we have reached Norn Iron. He was also an MLA for the constituency of the same name between 2007 and 2015.

Has a man ever looked so Irish?

Tom Brake (Liberal Democrat - Carshalton and Wallington)

Served as Deputy Leader of the Commons during the last Parliament. Was lucky to hold onto his seat (his words not mine).

Majority cut from 5,000 to 1,000.

Kevin Brennan (Labour - Cardiff West)

Shadow Minister for Education. Son of a steelworker and a school dinner lady, so obviously a champagne socialist. One of those people who looks like quite a few other people.

Deidre Brock (SNP - Edinburgh North and Leith)

Born in Australia and once appeared in an episode of Home and Away apparently. Formerly served on the city council.

And here she is in Home and Away

Chris Bryant (Labour - Rhondda)

A former priest and an openly gay one at that. Was a Tory in his University days. Has served in the Shadow Cabinet since 2010; previously held minor frontbench positions when Labour were in government.

This is the picture he used on a Gay dating site, for reference

Douglas Carswell (UKIP - Clacton)

UKIP's first and now (following the defeat of Mark Reckless in May) only MP. Played a crucial role in the removal of Michael Martin as Speaker. During his time as a Tory MP he was perhaps the Commons' equivalent to the European Parliamentarian Daniel Hannan, having held (and still holding) 'libertarian' and strongly Eurosceptic views. Overall, he probably represents a somewhat more moderate and reasonable side of UKIP.

I have a lot of time for Carswell, he's very sound on constitutional issues and takes a broader approach to policy than many of his UKIP colleagues

Nick Clegg (Liberal Democrat - Sheffield Hallam)

Lol.
My compatriot.

Many media, also in the Netherlands, lazily copy that he doesn't have a foreign accent in Dutch, yet it seems he does. However, I'm being nitpicky and his Dutch is still extremely good.

When meeting EU politicians at Downing Street, it was common for Clegg to speak in their language rather than English, much to the annoyance of Cameron's spies who couldn't crib what was being discussed....

Therese Coffey (Conservative - Suffolk Coastal)

A Liverpool FC supporter, oddly enough. Previously a failed European election candidate.

Considered by Quentin Letts as the natural successor to Ann Widdecombe

Mary Creagh (Labour - Wakefield)

Born in Coventry, led Islington Council for several years and now MP for Wakefield. Yeah, she's been around a bit. Shadow cabinet member throughout the previous parliament. Briefly ran for Labour leader this year. Few people know what she stands for.

Least of all herself.
