Attlee. I do wonder if Churchill stayed on for so long because he knew what a disaster Eden would be; Attlee did a similar thing with Herbert Morrison in mind.

Churchill was a wartime PM, a great one at that. But you have to be very very right wing to favour Churchill in 1945
