I don't know what to make of this. I've always said that Biden was the wild card in 2016, and it is an absolute coin toss as to whether or not he runs, but I've been leaning more towards thinking he won't run. I don't know, I guess we'll see in the coming months what his plans are.

And yeah, this reminds of all that Romney speculation also.

Reminds me of the Romney talk at the beginning of the year/

Romney said to a room full of donors openly that he wanted to be president. This just seems to be speculation and Biden himself has said nothing, hardly the same.

Nah, if anything him entering would probably hurt Hillary a little.

One of our most effective and likeable VPs in a long time.  By all rights he should be the front-runner.

When Vice President George Bush ran for President in 1988, he could run on a record of ending the Cold War, tax relief, combating inflation, a 16% reduction in poverty, and 16 million new jobs.

When Vice President Al Gore ran for President in 2000, he could run on a record that included welfare reform, the first balanced budgets in a generation, and 22 million new jobs.

Should he decide to run for President, Vice President Biden would have to run on some very disappointing economic numbers and facts. The truth is, unless you are a corporate bank or on Wall Street, the economy is just as weak now as it was in 2008 and for many, it's weaker.

What makes him likeable? Constantly for the past close to 7 years, he's had at least a 20% negative job approval. The only group who actually like him are blacks. And he got like 2-3% of the votes in the primary, which means that not even ultra-liberal Democrats like him.

I hope this is true! As a neutral, Biden would make it more entertaining by adding more narrative to the race. And I think that it makes the Democratic Primaries stronger by offering another choice.

Hillary won't be helped by winning every state in the primaries by 60-20 margins over a self-described Socialist. I'm not sure if Biden could beat her, or if he'd have a better chance against the Republican winner, but it won't hurt to give the Clinton campaign a trial run in a competitive primary.

How come all the Hillary fans on here think that would be a bad thing? If she's vulnerable, wouldn't you want those vulnerabilities to come to light in the primaries, not the general?
